What is Touring?
"Touring" refers to travelling or undertaking excursions over longer distances. Touring involves exploring different places, regions or countries and enjoying the sights, landscapes and cultural aspects along the way.
In the context of motorbikes, "touring" refers to the type of riding that emphasises comfort and relaxation. Touring vehicles are often equipped with additional features that help to make long journeys more enjoyable, such as comfortable seats, windscreens, luggage systems and improved suspension.
What are the tasks of the Touring Commission?
The Touring Commission, together with its clubs, organizes motorcycle tours through Luxembourg and takes part in tours abroad. They also organize riding safety training and creates motorcycle travel guides.
